Put yourself first

I have one piece of important advice that I feel is important to share. When in a relationship you should always make sure that he needs you more than you need him. How often do you hear of someone who “can’t” or “won’t” leave a bad relationship because they rely so much on their man? Whether it’s financially, emotionally or out of fear of being alone, they stay trapped in these unhealthy and unhappy situations.

I may sound like a shallow bitch but I always plan my future in a way that I can do everything for myself so that if I become unhappy, I can move on without fear.

I am perfectly happy and content in my current relationship but I still have the comfort of my independence which is what keeps me sane.

Always remember to put yourself first because your happiness does not depend on another person but resides within yourself.
